Celebrating

Today I'm celebrating the makeover of Imparting Grace. I'm so excited about the brand new design of my blog, and I'm thrilled to be sharing it with you.

So what is Imparting Grace about? Is it a decorating blog, a homemaking blog, a faith blog, a mom blog? The answer, I think, is "yes."

If you were to ask my what my passion is, I would answer "all of the above." Because my passion is really the interplay of the various facets of the whole person. I'm fascinated by the way our spiritual selves set the tone for our emotional selves which affect our physical selves which impact our intellectual selves which inform our spiritual selves. . . .

So you may find here a post about my decorating my house,



or making something fun for my home,



or reflecting on my faith,



or savoring moments with my family,



or just being honest with myself.

In everything I post, I hope to be faithful to the challenge I set for myself when I started this blog, that which inspired the name. Ephesians 4:29 says, "Let no word proceed out of your mouth, except what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers."

I hope you'll like what you see and come back often. I'm eager to have blogging friends with whom to enjoy this journey.

    Oh, how I miss North Carolina! The first time I visited your blog and saw both the beach picture and the picture of your front yard, I thought it looked like North Carolina. I grew up going to North Carolina every summer because my grandparents lived there. I even attended college there my freshman year of college there.

    LOL, I don't know why I thought Burt's Bees was from Oregon. Must be because I never heard of them till we moved here and now I love their products.

    I just popped over here from Nesting Place - so glad I did. I read several of your posts, and will definitely be adding you to my blog feeder. :) You truly have had a long twelve months, thank you for being so honest about it. Reading the line "I live mostly at Duke Hospital" reminds me so much of one of my friends - she lived at a Ronald McDonald house for months on end while her 2yo son was in a children's hospital. Her younger daughter was born right before this trial began for her, and my friend says she doesn't remember much of her daughter's first year - yet she can clearly describe every person she had the chance to interact with & share Christ with while staying at RMH. Her eternal perspective is inspiring (and challenging) to me!

    I did find my way over here from the Nester's and I am so glad I did. Your blog is lovely and I look forward to coming here often. I have been on quite a journey myself lately and discovered many things about who I am. I think my blog is finally heading in the right direction and I can hardly wait!     I love Burt's Bees! I've been to their neck of the woods in Maine (although I understand "Bert" has moved to someplace else). Your blog is so pretty, Richella, as is your Facebook picture. I wish I was going to be in San Antonio; I'd love to connect in person again.
