My "Special Touches" party was last Friday, and I was so nervous about it. But I needn't have been--it was a great party with plenty of wonderful participants. Whew. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who joined me.
If you haven't already, you may want to click here to read about the party. Here are just a few of my favorite participants.
One of the first people to join me was the lovely Melissa from Melissa's Heart and Home. Of course, Melissa's house is full of special touches. I especially loved this lamp in her powder room:
By the way, Melissa has a beautiful, brand-new blog design, so you'll want to stop by and admire it!
A new friend, Molly at Toile in the Family, showed us how she framed a darling little dress worn by her and both of her daughters. She has it displayed alongside photos of each of them wearing the dress:
You may not have seen this post from Kristi at learning about grace, who was one of the later girls to link up. Kristi is a brand-new blogger, so be sure to stop by and welcome her to the Blogosphere! I just love the way she has a darling "Hope" sign tucked into her front door wreath:
One of my favorite links is from Amanda at Serenity Now, who reminds us of what's real and good in our lives. She may not have a fancy coffee bar, but she can offer a selection of sippy cups to any guest who needs one:
And that's just a few of the entries! There's so much more where these came from. To be honest, picking a few to highlight has been the hardest part of hosting this party! I suggest that you just click here to go to the party and visit all these wonderful women.
Sounds like a great party. I hate I missed it! Carla
ReplyDeleteRichella your party was fantastic and you did a wonderful job as hostess. Thank you for featuring me and my lamp on your recap! I just adore a small lamp glowing in a powder room.
ReplyDeleteI am having so much fun with my new blog design. I'll post something later on today.
