It happened again this October. . . and this time, I nodded my head in wonder.
Perhaps grace is the freedom to enjoy gifts just as they're given.
Every good and perfect gift is from above,
and comes down from the Father of lights,
with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning (James 1:17).

I love how you never cease to see the beauty in the little things. :)
ReplyDeleteAre God's seasons wonderful? It's definitely fall here, but we still have a few tomatoes in the garden.
ReplyDeleteGardenias are my moms favorite flower. She carried them in her wedding bouquet. They always make me smile and think of her. She loves irises, too, and when they bloom in my backyard in the spring I'm reminded of her sweetness every time I look out my kitchen window. Isn't it amazing how much meaning can be contained in a single bloom?
ReplyDeleteRichella, that gardenia picture is so beautiful that I want to frame it and hang it in my home. How blessed you are to have such beautiful flowers blooming.
ReplyDeleteI love gardenias...they smell wonderful!! Beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
That is a great thought.
ReplyDeleteGrace is the freedom to enjoy gifts just as they're given...wonderfully put!
I can almost smell the magnolia, girl!
Enjoy the beauty--soon it will be winter...another set of wonders!
Hugs,
~me
Beautiful Richella, just like you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful glimpse into grace.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words today!
Blessings!

Gardenias are my favorite. Their sweet scent sometimes makes me cry in a good way. I think I have memories that I can't remember, exactly. But they are good, and they are related to gardenias.
ReplyDeletePhotos of grace, indeed.
I love that perspective of grace. So many times the word grace is associated with something negative that is being pardoned or overlooked. This perspective is so refreshing.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Richella - thank you so much for your comment! Yes, all my pictures are from Honduras. It's hard for me to choose favorites too!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are gorgeous! I think flowers are one of the ways God sought to give us grace in tangible form.
Beautiful post. I love gardenias. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteHey, I got the fabric today. THANK YOU!!!! :)
Mums and Gardenias are an odd combination, but they look great together. I've always wanted to try to grow Gardenias because their smell is so sweet and good. Lovely photo!
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful gardenias! All the Lord's seasons are so wonderous & lovely :-)
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the gardenia, is the most beautiful picture of grace! by the way I had been trying to think of the saying "letting the main thing, be the main thing" for days - and you gave it to me over at Traci's in your comment. Thank you girl!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and sweet thought Richella.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
~Melissa :)
I love the gardenias! They're just beautiful. I wish I had a green thumb :(
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful those flowers (and this post!) are!
ReplyDeleteDid Traci tell you we spent the weekend hanging out together? : )
If there is a Relevant next year, you are SOOOOOOOOOOO going! :D
