Last week I shared the fact that I was running at top speed, getting through the week of final exams and planning for my youngest son's 8th grade graduation and my middle son's high school graduation. Our busy week is now past, and we're left just with memories of some good, good times.
Want a glimpse?
My youngest son Lee (now a freshman!) and a very proud mom
All three boys at Lee's 8th grade celebration
Preston speaking at his graduation ceremony
Jack, Preston, and me
Preston with my amazing sister and her family
Preston and his good friend Will with our wonderful pastor
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning" (James 1:17).
I had a highschool graduate at my house, too. I asked the Lord to help me really live in the moment and make memories. Sometime I find myself worrying about house guests, receptions, etc. I have beautiful memories of Emily's special day. I'm glad you do, too.
ReplyDeleteI know that you are so proud of your boys! Catie has not had graduation yet, but she is finished with school. Thankfully, our days are a little more relaxed now. Enjoy the summer with your family. Carla
ReplyDeleteHow cute are those boys? And their mama?! You should be so proud of your beautiful family. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all of the exciting milestones happening in your family right now! Those are memory making moments for sure. :-)

Aw...what a sweet post Richella, it seems like yesterday (not 2 years ago) when my Sarah graduated from high school.
ReplyDeleteBe prepared for lots of changes. Now is when they really start flying and testing their faith and learning how to fully rely on God. It is a beautiful thing to witness!
I pray the Lord will show your home many exquisite blessings as your family (ahem) matures ;)
HUGS!

Thanks so much for sharing the photos, Richella, and for letting us all share in your sons' important events. I cannot believe that Lee is so grown up - a decade flies by, doesn't it?! It's great to see you so happy, Richella, and Jack looking so healthy. Praise God, indeed; you are extremely blessed.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
Erin

ReplyDeleteAm reading your blog and feeling a lot of things. One of them is how much we have in common. I, too, am married to Jack (my own Jack of course), mom to 3 boys all in high school. All boys quite tall and lanky like yours. Love to decorate and relatively new to the blogging world. Well actually blogged for a couple of years but don't do much of it as this high school tour is super, super busy and I cannot believe how timeis flying! Blessing to you and yours.
