When I got home from taking Lee to school, I found a note on my computer saying: "Open iTunes. Click on TV shows. I love you!"
Can you see what's captured in this screen shot? Both seasons of Downton Abbey. Be still, my heart.
And the best part? Jack likes to watch it, too. Thank you, Lord, for giving me a romantic husband!
Did you get anything special for Valentine's Day?
What a special gift. Isn't fabulous that he really knows what you like. He did good. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteThat is such a thoughtful gift! Those are the best!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!!! I wish, oh how I wish, T and I had similar taste in TV or books, but he doesn't read and he likes ESPN or Fox News or The History Channel. :s
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Downton Abbey. I recorded this week's episode, but haven't had a chance to watch yet. You have such a thoughtful husband!
Be still my heart is right. You and me both. What a sweetie. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteMy treasured gifts were all handmade: 4 precious valentines, one heart tile coaster of one of my 4 year old's artwork and a bouquet of hearts with the other 4 year old's handprints on them, topped off with heart pasta. It doesn't get any better!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh! I love that show!!! What a sweet gift! :-)
ReplyDeleteI thought you were going to say he gave you a trip to England to see Highclere Castle!
ReplyDeleteBut the two series are nice too. :)
Believe me, Shelly, we've been talking about another trip to England, and we've spent a lot of time looking at Highclere Castle online! :)
ReplyDeleteI love a box of chocolates on Valentines Day, and this year Patrick brought assorted French chocolates back from his trip to France, in a pretty glass candy bowl. The best part--there were 94 pieces of chocolate! They're so rich, we can only eat 2 or 3 at a time, so they'll last a while!
ReplyDeleteAww! How sweet! It's the things like those that just melt our hearts, right? I have never heard of that show... what's it about?
ReplyDeleteLove Downton Abbey! I just started watching Season 1 a few weeks ago and I am all caught up and ready for the next episodes!!
ReplyDeleteThey are soooo good!
Oh how sweet! Aren't romantic hubbys the greatest gift ever?! We don't deserve them. Maybe our hubs are kindred spirits too (mine loves DA as well). Ha! For myself, there are parts of it that I LOVE, and then parts of it that leave me so depressed and disappointed in the writing quality. But maybe I'm just a tv snob. Something about it keeps me coming back for more though. I think it's the time period! I will say though, that I was very satisfied with the ending of this season. You?
ReplyDeleteOh, that IS a good gift. Love that M & E are finally going to be together... do you think Carson and Mrs. Hughes will ever hook up?? :)
ReplyDeleteI just came across this post. My wonderful husband just bought me both seasons of Downtown Abbey, too and we love watching it TOGETHER! We are blessed women of God to have such thoughtful spouses!! :) I saw what you said here and just had to chime in!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you,
Leslie
