Jack, Lee, and I were driving down the highway when I spotted an airplane doing odd things. "What's that pilot up to?" I asked. Soon it became apparent that he was skywriting so I grabbed my phone and took a few pictures. Here's what he wrote in the sky:
The first word had faded by the time he reached the end, but if you look closely you can still read his message: "Love God."
Reminded me of Psalm 19: "The heavens declare the glory of God. . . ." Not usually in skywriting, but I like the "Love God" message!
Have you ever seen anything written in the sky?
What an awesome message to look up at the sky and see!!! Have a great day!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so neat. I'm sure I've seen it done before, but can't remember completely. I know I've seen a lot of banner streaming planes at the beach, though. I always loved those things. It was my favorite form of watching advertisements, lol.
ReplyDeleteThat is sooooo cool! My daughter had a friend in 1st grade that wanted to be a sky writer...but she told me...Mommy I'm going to have to go with him because he isn't a very good speller...hehehee
ReplyDeletewow...never saw anything like that! How special!
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine so many people praying for a sign from God, looking up and seeing that- how cool! Not long ago, hubby & I saw a couple of clouds that were almost perfect circles- I told hubby it looked like God was blowing us kisses. :)
ReplyDeleteHow cool! I've never seen skywriting before...unless you count seeing it on a movie:)
ReplyDeleteSo cool!
ReplyDeleteMagnifico,un bel segnale per tutti noi!!
ReplyDeleteMagari invita a pregare Dio per chi non lo prega!!

Sabry!!
Richella- How neat is THAT! I love it! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteHey Grammar Queen, wouldn't it be cool if he just put a comma between the two words?? ;)
ReplyDeleteShelly, that is just EXACTLY what I thought when I read the message! Of course "Love God" is a good commandment, but I wanted to think he was writing a message from God to us, so "Love, God" would have been better.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to know that I'm not the only one in the world who would have thought of this!! :)
That is awesome Richella! I have seen skywriting in movies and on tv...but I am not sure I have seen it in real life! (:>)
ReplyDeletewhat a gift!!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Who knows who that might have touched! I've never seen skywriting in real life but how special that you were able to. :-)
ReplyDeleteRichella I LOVE that! Thanks so much for sharing - isn't it good to know that there still are people passionate enough about God to share it in a BIG WAY!!! :-)

What a beautiful, unexpected gift!
ReplyDeleteOh oh!!! Last November, we were at DisneyWorld (actually in the neighboring town of Celebration for Starbucks) and we saw a skywriter. He was writing "Jesus Loves You". What an uplifting sight!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this! :)
