Hi Richella, Christ goes before is a grounding and comforting truth. I wanted to thank you for reading my Hold Everything Lightly Series. That is a daunting task especially in one sitting. It means more to mean than I could ever say. Olive from OliveOut
My husband has been saying this prayer ( he says the full version) every morning during his morning walk. He says after this, he is ready for the day and the world, come what may, he knows he is not alone. He's been trying to convince me to start that habit and I think I may just start today. Thank you for this post.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment! I read every one; they make my day. If you have a specific question, please be sure your email address is attached to your profile or leave your email address in the comment; I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Every blessing!
Child of God, apprentice to Jesus, wife of a great guy, and mom of three wonderful sons, I'm a blessed and profoundly grateful woman. I'm also a writer and speaker, and I serve on the Ministry Team and Board of Directors of Renovaré, a ministry dedicated to Christian spiritual formation.
I love blogs for the glimpses they provide into people's lives, so my blog gives you a glimpse into my life--my home, my family, my faith. My prayer is that this blog might impart some grace to you.
Thank you dear Richella, I was needing this beautiful prayer from the breast plate of St. Patrick's...I never knew this! Have a blessed weekend.

Richella, are you OK if I use that as my profile pic next week? Your watermark is on it, but I still want to ask.
ReplyDeleteKristin, you're more than welcome to use it! I so love that prayer. I need it, for sure!
ReplyDeleteHappy March!
So beautiful, as is the Celtic Cross. This morning, I explained to the children how St. Patrick used the shamrock to teach the Trinity to the Irish.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of one of my favorite prayers:
"Lord, take me where You want me to go,
Let me meet who You want me to meet,
Tell me what You want me to say,
and keep me out of Your way."
Fr. Mychal Judge, passed 09/11/01 at the WTC.
Blessings,
Erin
I love this! (And might just borrow it, too.) :)
ReplyDeleteLovely! Thank you!
