Google Reader is going away on July 1, and I've heard rumors that Google Friend Connect is being discontinued as well. This makes me so sad! My followers are my friends, and I love having all your pictures on my sidebar.

There is so much confusion over this issue, but GFC is not the same thing or service as Google reader. GFC is directly connected to our Blogger blogs and we will be able to keep that and still read our blogs from our blogger dashboard!
ReplyDeleteGoogle reader is a separate product that is not connected directly to Blogger and that is the service that is going away.
Please pass the word along?!
There might be a day when GFC also goes away, but for now we get to keep that one, thank goodness!

ReplyDeleteNot all of the blogs I follow show up in my Blogger dashboard and that is why I have liked Google Reader. I will have to check out Bloglovin. I guess I better hurry since July is right around the corner...
