Certainly a beautiful prayer. It seems lately that I have been praying Hezekiah's prayer for our nation: “Lord, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 6 let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you. 7 We have acted very wickedly toward you. We have not obeyed the commands, decrees and laws you gave your servant Moses."
Beautiful! I was thinking of this very verse this week with so many cutting their fields this week and putting up bales for the winter. Adding my prayer to yours for more workers.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment! I read every one; they make my day. If you have a specific question, please be sure your email address is attached to your profile or leave your email address in the comment; I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Every blessing!

ReplyDeleteThat certainly bears thinking about. I wonder sometimes how good of a "worker" I am in the "field". xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLord of Harvest, send forth reapers, hear us Lord, to thee we cry. Send them now the sheaves to gather, ere the harvest time pass by.
ReplyDeleteLove this.
Cathie, that's from the old hymn "Far and Near"! I love that song! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks - I couldn't remember the name of the song, and we don't sing the old hymns as much as newer ones in our church.
