Grace at Home No. 304

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here for this week's Grace at Home party, where we celebrate all the ways we make our homes places of grace.

I apologize for my absence around these parts. My summer so far has been a little crazy, with one trip in June to D.C., one to Oregon, and another to Colorado. It's been hard for me just to remember which time zone I occupied on any given day! But I'm glad to be home in North Carolina for awhile now.

Here are some links from our last party that I thought you'd enjoy.

Jen from Noting Grace shared a summertime tour of her lovely home.

Lindsey from Repurpose and Upcycle shared a wonderful tip for hanging pictures—why have I never thought of this before?

Are you planning any camping trips this summer? If you are, you'll be glad to know these camping hacks from Michelle at The Scrap Shoppe Blog.

Of course, next week is American Independence Day (can you even believe that??), and if you're looking for fun 4th of July treats, you'll appreciate this post from Leslie at From Playdates to Parties.

Or, if you're like me, you just need some recipes that won't heat up the house. So you might appreciate these no-cook recipes from Kit at The Kittchen.

And for an easy summertime dessert, you might want to try this strawberry frozen yogurt recipe from Jas at All That's Jas--no ice cream maker needed!

A big thank you to everyone who joined the last party!  I'm so grateful for each person who links up. If you've been featured, feel free to grab the "I was featured" button.  I'd be so proud if you displayed it!

Now for this week's party!  Grace at Home is a place for you to share anything related to making your home a place of grace. I invite you to link posts about

Grace at Home No. 303

Hello and welcome! I'm glad you're here for this week's Grace at Home party, where we celebrate all the ways we make our homes places of grace.

Here are some features from last week's party I think you'll enjoy.

Laura from Decor to Adore remodeled her bathroom on a very tight budget. Be sure to see what she started with and then check out the finished space.

Tiffany from A Nod to Navy shared some simple ideas for refreshing your outdoor living area. I need to get busy implementing some of these ideas.

If you have a garden, you'll really appreciate this post from Chas at Chas' Crazy Creations on how to keep pests away. Some great ideas here!

If you have kids at home for the summer, you may already be scratching your head for ways to keep them busy. This list of 100 summertime activities from Vicki at Five Spot Green Living should give you lots of good ideas!  She includes a free printable summer calendar to help you plan.

June always makes me think of weddings. I was a June bride myself! If you're looking for encouragement for your marriage, you really should read this "Open Letter to My Husband: I Would Choose Us Again" from Tiffiney at Welcome Home Ministries. You'll be inspired!

Grace at Home No. 302

Hello, friends! Welcome to Grace at Home on this first Thursday in June!

One of the most fun things that happens for me in June is a trip to Washington, D.C. to attend a gala at Hillwood Museum, the home of Marjorie Merriweather Post. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have gotten a peek into the house:

Isn't that staircase magnificent? Such a beautiful place.

Anyway, this week has been a whirlwind for me. I hope it's been a good one for you!

Here are some link from last week's party I thought you might enjoy.

Lindsey from Repurpose and Upcycle has taken a basic tract house and turned it into a farmhouse-style custom home. Take a look at all the fun changes she has made!

Marty from A Stroll Thru Life made over an end table that was showing its age into a perfect piece for her space--and she shares the process step-by-step, so you can see how to do it yourself.

Need to set a special table this summer? Pam from Everyday Living shared four different summer tablescapes, all of them lovely.

Joy from Artful Homemaking shared a recipe for making a no-bake cherry "cheesecake" that's sure to be a summer winner.

Dr. Michelle Bengtson from Hope Prevails shared some wonderful wisdom about how God wants to give us good things. You'll be glad you read this!
