Grace at Home No. 360


Hello and welcome to the Grace at Home party! I'm so glad you're here to celebrate all the ways we make our homes places of grace.

Preparations for Christmas are now well underway for most of us, though I've talked with a number of people who feel as I do that the late Thanksgiving has made the Advent season seem rushed. Christmas is now less than two weeks away!

    Richella, thank you for hosting today. Your post on blessing vs impressing goes hand in hand with the parting link I shared in my city style open house post today. It's about encouraging us to stop trying to be perfect. The clear message in that article is that Christmas is about God interrupting our plans. In our downsize this year, I let go of a lot of the materials things of Christmas, and hope to hold onto what's important. Thank you for always being the gentle cheerleader that you are in helping us. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
