Years ago, link parties were a huge part of blogging. These days, they've faded a bit in importance, but I still like them. It's my pleasure to host this one, where we celebrate all the ways we make our homes and spheres of influence places of grace and beauty.

Happy Autumn!

I'm always so grateful when the Autumnal Equinox finally graces our calendars. Since I live in North Carolina, the end of summer brings a sigh of relief. What's it like in your neck of the woods?

This past week was a very special one for me. I got to travel to Washington to spend time with my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. I intended to post on Instagram as I went along, but once I got to their house I didn't want to take my eyes off this little fellow:

Now I'm back home and I'm having serious grandson withdrawal!

Grace at Home No. 437

What a joy it is for me to welcome you today! 

If we're friends on Instagram, you may already know that this is a special week for me. I just celebrated a very important birthday!

I turned 58 this week. That may not sound like an important birthday, but for me it is, because my mother was 58 when she died. I haven't written about this yet (still need to do some processing!), but it feels monumental to have reached this age. I certainly don't take my life and health for granted!

For me, part of not taking life for granted is to celebrate all the ways we make our homes and spheres of influence places of grace and beauty, so I'm honored to host the Grace at Home party every week. Here are some highlights from last week's party.
