Welcome, friends! Honestly, it seems as if I blinked and it's mid-October. I've heard many times that the passage of time seems to speed up the older you get, and I believe that's true.
I'm so glad you're here for the Grace at Home party, where we celebrate the ways we make our homes places of grace and beauty. Here are some highlights from last week's party.
Now that we're well into Autumn, have your decorated your home for the season? Denise from My Home of All Seasons shares her method of decorating her front porch.
Are you looking for quick ways to update a room in your home? Renae from Peacock Ridge Farm transformed her dining room using peel-and-stick wallpaper, and she shares instructions on how to do it for yourself.
Want to update your bathroom but don't have much to spend? Julie from My Wee Abode shares how she changed the look of the dated bathroom in her apartment. So many wonderful, cost-effective ideas?
As prices on most goods have risen lately, do you find yourself need some help in saving on groceries? Lazy Budget Chef can help, such as with this post that explains how to shop for loss leaders.
Need a hot and filling dinner option that takes very little hands-on time? Kristy from Mommy Hates Cooking shares her Slow-Cooker Chili recipe.
As the Autumn and Winter holidays are approaching, there are lots of yummy-looking recipes floating around. But what if your health demands that you're trying to lose weight these days? Wendy from The Inspired Eater shares some tips for keeping things "small and sane."
Last but not least, Barbara Harper shares some sobering but also encouraging thoughts from having attended a memorial service. This will make you think about how you're living your days.
Thank you to everyone who linked up!

Whatever you do to make your home or sphere of influence a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it. Here's what I ask of you. Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page. Please let people know that you've linked up. No more than three posts per person, please. Note that if you link a post here, you are giving me permission to share your post, including a photo. And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting Richella and I'm thrilled to be included in your features! Time does move so much faster the older you get. That scared me for awhile but after last year I know that every single day is gift. I try to stop a few times during the day and say "thank you" and I think that helps me slow it down a bit. Thanks again and have a great weekend ahead!
ReplyDeleteYour party is always inspiring! I am trying to get back into linking up! Thank you for being here!

ReplyDeleteRichella, how I wish my porch was decorated for fall, but being in the midst of moving, it looks more like a haunted house that ghosts have wrecked, lol! Thank you for hosting. I did get my table set for hOWLoween. ;)
